Why is a deposit required?
A $50 deposit is required for all visits except nail trims, anal glands, and weigh ins. This helps to eliminate "no shows" and allow us to keep our schedule open for people like you!

How long do I have to wait to spay my female after her heat?
For small and immature dogs, we recommend 1-2 months in between the last day of heat and the surgery booking date. When a female is in heat, all the blood vessels in the uterine horns become engorged and a high risk for bleeding can occur.

Do you carry all the "usual suspects" in terms of vaccines?
We do! Dogs have the option of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Leptospirosis, Lyme, and Bordetella. Cats have the option of Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline Leukemia.

Surgery drop off vs. email time differences?
Correct! All dogs are dropped off at 7:30am and cats are dropped off at 8am. They stay for the full day and are ready by 5:30 or 6pm. We call for earlier pickup if needed.

Can they have surgery without up to date vaccines?
Yes! We will administer required vaccines at the time of surgery as required by law.

How long is the recovery period after surgery?
Depends on the pet's size and personality. Some bounce back quickly; others need more TLC. Usually we recommend 7-14 days of rest and recovery.

What is a low cost, high quality clinic anyway?
We provide the same treatment and care as private clinics but for a fraction of the cost. Our model is centered on community needs rather than profit chasing.
